AccuWeather is a renowned weather forecast service which can now be integrated with Ford’s SYNC AppLink. This app comes handy for users as information such as accurate local weather with updates, daily high and low temperatures, five-day forecast and are relayed across. This gives drivers an opportunity to be prepared and safe for changing weather conditions, especially on longer journeys.
Thanks to the quality of radio music of late, streaming on-the-go has become one of the most popular ways of listening to some contemporary music. Thanks to the Hungama Drive app, Ford car owners can use SYNC AppLink to stream music from this app via voice commands. However, Hungama Drive is yet to fire up for Ford owners, and should be available from June onwards.
With the increase in the number of vehicles plying the road, drivers find themselves commuting for longer periods of time. And what’s the harm in being up-to-date with some latest news. When the updated Inshorts app links to Ford’s SYNC AppLink, the app will read the news in an easy to understand format, and users only need to use voice commands for a customized news feed.
With the PParkE app, users get the option to find a place to park. This is great boon considering the fact that finding a place to park is increasingly getting difficult. This app now links to the SYNC AppLink and allows Ford drivers to not only find the closest parking lot, but also provides the full address, distance from the current location, number of parking spots available and the amount one has to shell out to park.
The updated version of the MapMyIndia app continues to help users locate and navigate to specific locations, and other points of interest. However, what’s new is that the app helps with the navigation through spoken driving directions. This helps minimizing distractions and discourages drivers from looking at their smartphone while driving.
